Position Objective

The position is responsible for accounting entries covering store cash transactions, sales reconciliations, petty cash, fixed assets, event sales, and related financial activities. The role also supports accurate monthly reporting through timely verification, reconciliation, provision booking, and reversal of month-end entries.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate posting of DSS and petty cash entries.


• Complete required accounting entries and verify supporting information within established timelines.


• Review and check sales reconciliation entries for accuracy.


• Verify store staff incentive calculations and related records.


• Record store credit card transactions and perform credit card reconciliations.


• Review administrative expenses associated with store operations.


• Check expenses including water and electricity, telephone charges, and petty cash.


• Determine and record appropriate expense provisions for MIS purposes.


• Book monthly provisions accurately and ensure month-end entries are reversed on time.


• Support accounting entries relating to store cash, fixed assets, event sales, and other assigned transactions.
