Job description

Job Objective:

To execute all procedures related to accounts receivable to maintain all financial accounts and fixed assets records in line with the policies and regulations, by maintaining general ledger and sub-ledger accounts and producing various accounting reports.

Key Accountabilities:

General Accounting:

  1. Reconcile collection and billing accounts regularly to accurately reflect the status of accounts receivable activities.
  2. Coordinate with local and overseas offices to receive and document information on fixed assets, supporting the regular update of the fixed assets register.
  3. Issue invoices and follow up with sponsors and strategic partners according to payment schedules to ensure timely collections as per the terms and regulations.
  4. Calculate fixed asset-related costs such as depreciation, amortization, and assets under construction, and prepare relevant reports for periodic financial statements.
  5. Prepare journal entries for bank reconciliations, obtain approvals, and signatures on all required documentation.
  6. Record credit transactions related to revenue accounts to support the balancing of entries in the organization's books.

Financial Reporting Support:

  1. Assist in conducting ad hoc studies and analyses, and prepare regular and ad hoc reports to support decision-making.
  2. Prepare and submit periodic accounts, financial analysis reports, and statistics in a timely manner to the line manager.
  3. Contribute to the monthly reporting process by ensuring all invoices and payments are entered into the accounting system.
