Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis.
• Assist with month end close process by preparing journal entries as requested.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Generate timely financial reports such as cash flow statements, income statements, balance sheets, and other ad hoc reports as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of invoices by verifying calculations against supporting documentation.
• Prepare income tax returns, sales tax returns, payroll tax returns etc.
• Review existing accounting processes for efficiency improvements.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Ras-al-Khaimah. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and taxation regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, and engaging in the evaluation of financial data.

Job Summary: The Accountant is responsible for overseeing the accurate maintenance of financial records and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Accountant will provide support to the Finance Department and will ensure accuracy of records by verifying, reconciling, and analyzing account information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis
