Job summary

The Canadian company in Ajman is urgently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, budgeting and tax filings, and collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate data.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with a Canadian company; knowledge of French is a plus. Accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably with a Canadian company.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage50
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Previous experience working in the UAE is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records for the company
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Handle tax filings and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and complete
