Job summary

Reef Al Fujairah City in the UAE is seeking an organized Accountant to join our finance team. The role focuses on preparing, maintaining and analyzing financial records, reconciling accounts daily and ensuring accurate data entry across company databases.

You will contribute to timely financial reporting and support budgeting processes. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, has solid knowledge of GAAP, and is proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working as an accountant preferred.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and analyze financial records
• Reconcile accounts daily
• Ensure accuracy of information entered into company databases
• Record data into various ledger accounts
• Monitor cash flow levels
• Generate financial reports on demand
• Help clients with questions about their accounts
• Prepare accounting documents such as invoices, bills, checks etc.
• Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets
• Analyze expenses for cost savings opportunities
