Job summary

A manufacturing company in UAE is seeking an experienced accountant to maintain financial records and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and UAE VAT regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Track production costs and accurately calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
  • Handle inventory accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
  • Ensure timely VAT filings and compliance with UAE financial regulations.
  • Support external audits and maintain robust internal financial controls.
