A leading HR consultancy in Dubai is seeking a competent Accountant to maintain financial records and assist in day-to-day finance department tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with standards such as GAAP and IFRS. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the UAE. This role offers a salary of 7000 AED monthly and a dynamic work environment.
We are looking for a competent accountant who can maintain financial records and assist in general day-to-day tasks within the finance department. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for computing, classifying and recording expenditures and revenue data to keep the company’s financial records complete.
Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS).
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
Process invoices, payments and expense reports.
Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and provide analysis and explanations.
Prepare and file tax returns ensuring compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations.
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
Develop and implement internal control procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information.
Conduct periodic reviews and audits of financial processes.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite especially Excel.
Excellent analytical problem‑solving and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance or a related discipline. 45 years of experience as a Counter Teller preferably in the real estate sector. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Proven ability to manage confidential financial data responsibly. Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or SAP required). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
