Role Overview:

We are hiring for a leading medical center in Dubai, seeking an experienced Accountant for a 1-year contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance, with proven experience in budgeting, VAT, payroll, and audit coordination. This is a hands-on accounting role and not suitable for entry-level candidates.

Only candidates on a sponsored or own visa will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support annual budget preparation and monthly variance analysis
  • Prepare monthly cash flow projections
  • Handle payroll processing and monthly staff salary computations
  • Submit VAT returns on a quarterly basis in compliance with UAE regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records per IFRS
  • Identify and report financial discrepancies or unusual transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and coordinate with banking partners
  • Assist in improving internal financial controls and systems (QuickBooks)
  • Support external audit preparation and provide required documentation
  • Reconcile sub-ledgers (AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets) with the general ledger
  • Analyze profitability per clinic and per doctor to support financial decision-making
  • Work closely with marketing and clinic teams on financial aspects of promotions
  • Carry out any other finance-related tasks as assigned by the center manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in a clinic or hospital setting within the UAE
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong grasp of UAE VAT regulations
  • Prior exposure to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is preferred
  • Strong financial reporting, reconciliation, and payroll experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
  • Type: Full-time, 1-year contract
  • Visa Status: Only candidates on own/sponsored visa will be considered
