Job summary

Confidential is seeking a qualified finance professional in Dubai. The role involves preparing financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or management reporting.

Strong knowledge of SAP is essential, and candidates with ACCA/CIMA/CPA will be preferred.

Job description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and general ledger postings.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist during audits.
• Process payroll and related statutory filings, if applicable.
• Review and verify financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline (ACCA/CIMA/CPA preferred).
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or management reporting within a structured finance function.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and SAP BW for financial reporting, data extraction, and budget/actuals uploads.
