Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 5 years of accounting experience, including audit or multi-branch exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting).
• Excellent follow-up, communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to branches about 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books including AP, AR, bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle month-end and year-end closings and prepare financial statements.
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
• Ensure reports and filings from branches are submitted accurately and on time.
• Verify branches follow policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Track compliance items across branches and escalate delays.
• Visit branches to review records and verify compliance.
• Report findings and recommendations to management.
• Support management with financial reports and ad-hoc analysis.

Role amp responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including AP AR bank and ledger reconciliations
• Handle month-end and year-end closing and prepare financial statements
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors
• Follow up with branches to make sure reports reconciliations and statutory filings are submitted accurately and on time
• Check that branches follow company policies procedures and internal controls
• Track pending compliance items across branches and elevate delays or issues
• Visit branches periodically to review records and verify compliance
• Report findings and recommendations to management
• Support management with financial reports and ad-hoc analysis

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree 5 years of accounting experience, including audit or multi-branch exposure
• Good knowledge of IFRS and internal controls
• Hands-on experience with Tally Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting)
• Strong follow-up, communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel to branches (around 10% of the time)
