Qualifications

Job Description / Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage core accounting functions, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and UAE regulations
• Prepare and file VAT returns and calculate Zakat contributions
• Reconcile bank statements, intercompany transactions, and general ledger accounts
• Generate cash flow reports and allocate costs to departments
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and auditing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and cost analysis
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics AX and Oracle GRP for transaction recording and reporting
• Leverage Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools for documentation and collaboration

Experience Required:

• 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Oracle GRP
• Hands-on experience with financial record management and reporting
• Practical experience in VAT return preparation and compliance
• Experience working in the UAE or Gulf region (Preferred)
• Knowledge of ERP implementation and system improvement initiatives (Preferred)

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) (Preferred)

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
