Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with prior experience in bullion trading. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, bullion market dynamics, and statutory compliance. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations specific to bullion and precious metals trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping – Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date books of accounts; record all bullion purchase/sale transactions, including physical and digital trades; track inventory of gold, silver, and other precious metals.
• Banking & Treasury – Manage daily bank reconciliations and fund flows; handle payments to suppliers and receipts from customers.
• Taxation & Compliance – Prepare and file VAT returns and other statutory filings; ensure compliance with income tax and bullion‑specific regulatory norms; coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
• MIS & Reporting – Generate daily and monthly profit & loss reports, position statements, and stock reports; prepare cost analysis and reconcile trade discrepancies; assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Audit & Controls – Assist in internal and external audits; implement internal financial controls and monitor adherence.
