Job summary

Careem is seeking an Account Manager I in Abu Dhabi to drive growth with key restaurant partners. You will manage relationships, renegotiate terms, and optimize campaigns to increase orders and revenue on the Careem platform.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, contract management, and operational excellence to ensure partners stay live and perform well.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Sales/Account Management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Residency in or relocation to Abu Dhabi is a must.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive joint business planning to create value and growth with top-tier brands and local accounts.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with restaurant partners, acting as the primary contact.
• Negotiate commissions, manage contracts, and drive advertising sales to boost order volume.
• Analyze account performance and make data-backed decisions with accurate sales records and reports.
• Resolve operational issues quickly to keep partners live and optimized on the platform.

What you’ll do

• Business Growth and Account Strategy: Drive proactive joint business planning to create value and continuous growth with top-tier brands and local accounts. Identify new opportunities to increase revenue, profitability, and market share, while regularly conducting business reviews to ensure performance alignment and strategic growth.
• Partner Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with restaurant partners, acting as the primary point of contact. Provide exceptional support, resolve operational issues, and optimize partner content to maximize performance.
• Commercial Optimization:Renegotiate commission rates, manage contracts, and drive advertising sales. Create and manage promotions to boost order volume and enhance partner visibility & increase partner value.
• Data-Driven Decisions:Analyze account performance, make data-backed decisions, and maintain accurate sales records, follow‑up activities, and performance reports.
• Operational Excellence:Quickly resolve technical and operational issues to ensure partners remain live and optimized on the platform.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any other related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Sales/Account Management
• Excellent attention to detail, people skills and organization skills
• Negotiation Skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and be flexible in working
• Strong Communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Excel Skills.
• Residency in or relocation to Abu Dhabi is a must
