Accountant In-Charge – Group of Healthcare & Retail Companies (UAE)

Location: Sharjah / Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site

We are a diversified healthcare group operating across pharmaceutical distribution, retail pharmacy chains, and online e-commerce platforms in the UAE & KSA.

We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Accountant In-Charge to oversee and streamline accounting operations across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting for several companies (distribution, retail, online).
• Handle monthly closing, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for management review.
• Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Oversee payables, receivables, and expense control with accuracy and discipline.
• Work closely with operations, purchasing, and management to ensure timely reporting and financial control.
• Support budgeting and cost analysis to improve profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/ACCA preferred).
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in FMCG, pharma, or retail sectors.
• Strong command of Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT & compliance.
• Able to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines across entities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
