The Opportunity

Education

What we're looking for:

  • B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biology or any other related discipline

Experience

  • 4 - 5 years of sales experience in laboratory supplies industry with minimum broad experience preferred (chemicals, consumables, and smaller equipment) along with channel management experience

Knowledge

  • A good understanding of company products, promotions, services, and solution offerings for customers
  • In-depth understanding of relationship types and buyer behaviors
  • Broad understanding of VWR Product & Service portfolio
  • Understanding of the roles of different VWR functions
  • Fluent in oral and written English; additional languages are a plus

Skills

  • Ability to structure content appropriately for the audience and objective
  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships and drive strategic conversations with customers
  • Manage customer interactions professionally, demonstrating excellent listening and organizational skills, using probing questions and reflective language to build trust
