Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai is seeking an experienced AC/HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot chillers and chilled water systems. You will work with AutoCAD drawings and perform electrical/mechanical maintenance while documenting service activities with safety as a priority.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with chiller systems, safety procedures, and a valid driving license, enabling effective on-site operations in a fast-paced UAE environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized HVAC training preferred.
• HVAC certification or licenses demonstrate competency in the field.
• Diploma / ITI / Technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience as an AC Technician / HVAC Technician / Chiller Technician.
• Strong knowledge of AC installation and maintenance.
• Experience with chiller installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with chilled water AC systems is mandatory.
• Good understanding of electrical maintenance and HVAC electrical controls.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical HVAC faults.
• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AC and chiller systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of air conditioning and chiller equipment.
• Perform installation and maintenance of chilled water AC systems, including associated piping and components.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC and chiller systems.
• Perform basic to intermediate electrical maintenance, including checking electrical panels, wiring, motors, contactors, relays, and other electrical components.
• Read and understand AutoCAD drawings, HVAC layouts, electrical drawings, and technical diagrams.
• Conduct regular inspection of AC and chiller equipment and identify potential faults.
• Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Maintain service and maintenance records and report major faults to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards.
