Job summary

Avanta Works in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Tutor to deliver high‑quality tutoring services to students in accordance with their individual needs. You will assess knowledge levels, provide instruction in subjects such as mathematics or English, and develop lesson plans with materials to support exam preparation.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Education and at least two years of tutoring experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• At least two years tutoring experience.
• Experience with immigrants or ESL/ELL students desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality tutoring services to students according to their individual needs.
• Assess students' knowledge levels in the subjects taught.
• Provide instruction in areas such as mathematics or English.
• Create lesson plans and develop teaching materials.
• Prepare students for examinations and track progress.
• Offer academic advice and maintain records of student progress.
• Meet with parents/guardians to discuss progress and attend faculty meetings.
