Job summary

Via Medica International in Abu Dhabi is seeking a compassionate School Nurse to promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of students and staff within the school environment. The ideal candidate will provide primary care, manage emergencies, and coordinate health services.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, valid DOH license or eligibility, BLS, and at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in school or pediatric settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required).
• Filipino nationality preferred.
• Valid DOH license or DOH eligibility letter.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
• Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries during school hours.
• Maintain accurate medical records and health documentation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and authorized.
• Monitor students with chronic medical conditions and develop care plans.
• Conduct health screenings and health promotion activities within the school.
