Job summary

A leading FMCG company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Controller to join their operations. Responsibilities include conducting quality checks on materials and products, monitoring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining documentation and reports on inspections. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of experience in Quality Control within the FMCG sector, alongside strong analytical and communication skills. Training provided to staff on quality standards is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in a similar Quality Control/Assurance role within the FMCG sector.
• Hands-on experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and other food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Monitor compliance with GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
• Perform lab testing, sampling, and sensory evaluations.
• Collaborate with production and packaging departments on quality deviations.
• Maintain documentation and reports on inspections, audits, and non-conformances.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation protocols are followed.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Provide training to production staff on quality standards.
