Job description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide professional nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings, ensuring they receive the highest standards of medical treatment. The RN will work in collaboration with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to monitor and manage patient health conditions, promote wellness, and deliver compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
  • Assess and monitor patient health, taking detailed medical histories, and performing physical examinations.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, documenting responses and any side effects.
  • Provide wound care and assistance with medical procedures as needed.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventative care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring proper documentation of all treatments, patient progress, and changes in condition.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA or local equivalents).
  • Collaboration:
  • Work as part of a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with other medical staff, patients, and families.
  • Emergency Response:
  • Respond to emergencies and provide life‑saving interventions as needed.
  • Prepare for and assist in disaster response protocols.
  • Patient Advocacy:
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients’ rights are respected, and their concerns are heard.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Education & Training:
  • Stay up to date with the latest medical research, nursing practices, and healthcare protocols.
  • Participate in continuous education, workshops, and training to improve clinical skills.
Qualifications
  • Education & Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse (1‑3 years preferred).
  • Experience in a clinical setting (hospital, clinic, etc.) is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and collected in emergency situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in the use of medical equipment and technology.
