Job summary

Air Arabia is seeking an experienced Line Maintenance Engineer to carry out and supervise line maintenance on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft under CAR 66 B2 authorisation, focusing on avionics and electrical systems.

The role ensures all maintenance is performed to technical standards and properly documented, with responsibility for safety, efficiency and timely certification in line with Air Arabia procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Holds or has held an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence and company maintenance approvals on the Airbus A320.
Ability to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 B2 Category Licence.
Able to demonstrate in-depth airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.

Responsibilities

Reviews assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work, priorities and documentation before starting.
Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance with required parts, tools and instructions.
Carries out test and inspection tasks to identify defects or damage per maintenance procedures.
Performs defect troubleshooting and rectification as per Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
