Job summary

Aeroprofessional Ltd is recruiting for Etihad Airways as an A320 Captain based in Abu Dhabi.

You will command the aircraft, lead the crew, and uphold safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5,500 hours total flight time required.
• Minimum 2,500 PIC hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit flights.
• Minimum 1,500 PIC hours on an A320 Family.
• A320 Family flown within the last 12 months.
• A320 type rating valid for joining (minimum 2 months).
• Unrestricted ICAO ATPL and current medical clearance.
• Current experience on the A320 platform.
• Age not older than 59 on joining.
• English language fluency Level 4+.

Responsibilities

• Own the safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft.
• Exercise full command of the aircraft from taxi-out to shutdown.
• Lead flight and cabin crew with strong decision-making and CRM.
• Operate with efficiency aligned to fuel and sustainability policies.
• Deliver On Time Performance and maintain guest satisfaction.

The Role

As a Captain with Etihad, you hold ultimate authority for the safe, secure, and efficient operation of every flight. You are entrusted with technical command of the aircraft, leadership of the crew, and the responsibility to uphold Etihad’s highest standards of professionalism.

• Ensure the safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft at all times
• Exercise full command of the aircraft from taxi-out to final engine shutdown
• Lead the flight and cabin crew, demonstrating strong decision‑making and effective crew resource management
• Operate with efficiency and environmental responsibility, in line with company fuel and sustainability policies
• Deliver consistent On Time Performance to meet Etihad’s commitment to reliability and guest satisfaction

What You’ll Bring

To be considered for the role of Captain A320, you must meet the criteria below:

• A minimum of 5,500 hours total flying time.
• A minimum of 2,500 PIC hours on multi crew, glass cockpit (1)
• A minimum of 1,500 PIC hours on one of the A320 Family
• Flown A320 Family within the last 12 months
• Type rating on A320 should be valid for a minimum of 2 months at the time of joining
• Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL
• Current on A320
• Unrestricted and current Class 1 medical
• Have not attained the age of 59 years on the day of joining
• Current TRE/TRI is an advantage
• English Language Fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or higher
• In case of hours accumulated on flights with in-flight relief, 75% of the total hours shall be counted towards the required minimum
• Glass Cockpit: aircraft with an FMS coupled to APFDS
