Job summary

FTI Capital Advisors, part of FTI Consulting, is offering an Investment Banking Intern position in Dubai (DIFC) starting in June 2027 and ending in August 2027. You will support the origination and execution of M&A mandates, help build financial models, and prepare client materials.

You will gain exposure across multiple stages of transactions, work with senior bankers, and develop core finance and presentation skills through hands-on training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering or related field.
• Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor's or master's degree with graduation date between June 2027 and June 2028.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the entire duration of the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support origination and execution of M&A mandates and transactions.
• Build business and financial models and perform valuation analyses.
• Create documents for client meetings covering strategic alternatives, M&A, and corporate finance.
• Conduct research to gather project-specific information and synthesize analyses into actionable conclusions.

What You will Do

As an Investment Banking Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the origination and execution of M&A mandates and transactions, getting involved in multiple stages from origination to closing. You’ll help build business and financial models and perform valuation analyses. Furthermore, you will assist in designing and creating documents for client meetings covering strategic alternatives, M&A, and corporate finance. Conducting thorough research to gather project‑specific information and synthesizing complex analyses into actionable conclusions will be essential aspects of your responsibilities.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering or relatedted field field.
• Actively pursuing a full‑time bachelor's or master's degree with graduation date or gap year/semester between June 2027 - June 2028.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the entire duration of the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• An understanding of Corporate Finance principles and methodologies.
• Advanced level in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Additional language skills are considered an asset.
